In a initiative to enhance e-Governance within Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) nationwide, the Ministry of Panchayati Raj (MoPR) has introduced eGramSwaraj, an intuitive web-based platform. eGramSwaraj seeks to foster improved transparency in decentralised planning, progress reporting, and work-based accounting processes.

What is eGram Swaraj ?

eGramSwaraj, a component of the Panchayat Enterprise Suite (PES) developed under the e-Panchayat Mission Mode Project (MMP) by the Ministry of Panchayati Raj (MoPR), aims to enhance transparency and bolster e-Governance within Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) nationwide. Through decentralized planning, progress reporting, and work-based accounting, it seeks to empower local governance.

By facilitating comprehensive access to local details, eGramSwaraj contributes to the holistic development of Panchayats. Its implementation is expected to elevate the credibility of PRIs, potentially leading to increased devolution of funds. Additionally, the platform enables effective monitoring by higher authorities, thereby ensuring accountability and efficiency in governance.

eGramSwaraj-PFMS Process Flow User Profile Creation :

• Upon first login, the user must complete mandatory profile details :
  • User Name pre-filled
  • Name to be entered by the user
  • Organization to be entered by the user
  • Designation to be entered by the user
  • Telephone number to be entered by the user
  • Email Address to be entered by the user
• Clicking “Update” fills the profile and sends OTPs to the user’s mobile number and email.
• User fills both OTPs separately.
• Clicking “Save” successfully saves the profile.
• User can update the profile at any time by navigating to Personalise -> Change User Profile.
• In both profile filling and updating cases, approval will be done by the respective admin as per hierarchy.

How to check eGramSwaraj Report ?

1. Visit the eGramSwaraj portal at egramswaraj.gov.in.
2. Log in to your account using your credentials.
3. Navigate to the “Reports” section on the dashboard.
4. Select the type of report you want to view (e.g., Physical Progress, Financial Progress, Planning Reports).
5. Choose the specific parameters or filters for the report, such as date range, Panchayat name, or activity type.
6. Click on the “Generate Report” or “View Report” button.
7. Review the generated report, which may include details such as progress status, financial details, and other relevant information.
8. Analyze the report to understand the performance and status of activities within the Panchayat.
9. Optionally, download or print the report for further analysis or sharing with stakeholders.

  • A demo site is provided for training and hands-on sessions.
  • For actual data entry, users should visit egramswaraj.gov.in

• Obtaining User Credentials:
  • State Government departments can request user ID and password details by sending a letter to the Ministry of Panchayati Raj, Government of India.
