Canada child benefit :
Canada Carbon Rebate (CCR) :
Eligibility for the Canada Carbon Rebate (CCR)
Residency Requirements :
- Residency: You are a resident of Canada in the month preceding the payment.
- Provincial Residency: You reside in one of the following applicable CCR provinces on the first day of the payment month:
- Alberta
- Manitoba
- New Brunswick
- Newfoundland and Labrador
- Nova Scotia
- Ontario
- Prince Edward Island
- Saskatchewan
Ineligibility : The CCR is not available in certain provinces and territories.
Age Criteria :
- At least 19 years old in the month before the CRA makes a payment, or
- Under 19 and meet at least one of the following conditions:
- Have or had a spouse or common-law partner
- Are or were a parent and lived with your child
Child Eligibility :
- Your child must meet the following conditions at the beginning of the payment month :
- Under 19 years of age
- Resides with you
- You are primarily responsible for their care and upbringing
- Registered for the CCR, CCB, or GST/HST credit
Canada Carbon Rebate (CCR) Payment :
- If you file taxes electronically by March 15, 2024, expect your next CCR payment on April 15, 2024.
- Filing after March 15 typically results in receiving the CCR payment 6-8 weeks after tax assessment.
Registering Your Child : If your child is not registered for the CCB, you must register them for the CCR using the RC66 Canada Child Benefits Application, which includes federal, provincial, and territorial programs.
Shared Custody : If you share custody of your child with your ex-spouse, you will receive payments equal to 50% of the amount you would have received if the child resided with you full-time.

Eligibility for the Canada Workers Benefit (CWB) Basic Amount :
- Earn working income and have a net income below the set level for your province or territory of residence.
- Maintain residency in Canada throughout the year.
- Be 19 years of age or older on December 31, or live with your spouse, common-law partner, or child.
Ineligibility for the CWB:
- Enrolled as a full-time student at a designated educational institution for over 13 weeks in the year, unless you have an eligible dependant on December 31.
- Confined to a prison or similar institution for at least 90 days during the year.
- Exempt from paying tax in Canada due to diplomatic or similar status.
Eligibility Criteria for an Eligible Spouse or Common-Law Partner :
- Reside with you as a spouse or common-law partner on December 31.
- Be a Canadian resident throughout the year.
Ineligibility for an Eligible Spouse or Common-Law Partner :
- Enrolled as a full-time student at a designated educational institution for more than 13 weeks in the year, unless they have an eligible dependant on December 31.
- Confined to a prison or similar institution for at least 90 days during the year.

Advanced Canada Workers Benefit (ACWB) :

Criteria for an Eligible Dependant :
