Chhattisgarh government has taken a new step towards empowering women called the Mahtari Vandana Yojana. The state government is collaborating with Central Government Scheme and managed by the Women and Child development Department of Chattisgarh. The scheme is announced by the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh to empower the females of the state by providing them financial assistance. It is meant to support the females with Rs 1000 per month and an annual support of upto 12000. Scheme is in lieu of national level scheme called Pradhan Mantri Matri Vandana Yojana under Women and Child Development Ministry. The meaning of term Mahtari Vandana in English is Worship Mother thereby praising the women of the state.

महतारी वंदना का अर्थ है मां की पूजा करना ।  छत्तीसगढ़ सरकार ने महिलाओं को सशक्त बनाने की दिशा में एक नया कदम उठाया है जिसका नाम महतारी वंदना योजना है। राज्य सरकार केंद्र सरकार की योजना के साथ सहयोग कर रही है और इसका प्रबंधन छत्तीसगढ़ के महिला एवं बाल विकास विभाग द्वारा किया जाता है।इस योजना की घोषणा छत्तीसगढ़ के मुख्यमंत्री द्वारा राज्य की महिलाओं को वित्तीय सहायता प्रदान करके सशक्त बनाने के लिए की गई है। इसका उद्देश्य महिलाओं को प्रति माह 1000 रुपये और 12000 तक की वार्षिक सहायता प्रदान करना है। यह योजना महिला एवं बाल विकास मंत्रालय के तहत प्रधान मंत्री मातृ वंदना योजना नामक राष्ट्रीय स्तर की योजना के बदले में है।

Eligibility for applying under Mahtari Vandana Yojana:

1. Women should be between 21 to 60 years of age and married
2. Woman must be resident of Chhatiisgarh
3. Can be divorced or widow
4. Woman should have her own individual bank account. Joint accounts is not applicable.
5. Bank account must be linked with Aadhaar and DBT must be active.

2. महिला छत्तीसगढ़ की निवासी होनी चाहिए
3. तलाकशुदा या विधवा हो सकती है
4. महिला के पास अपना व्यक्तिगत बैंक खाता होना चाहिए। संयुक्त खाता लागू नहीं है.
5. बैंक खाता आधार से लिंक होना चाहिए और डीबीटी एक्टिव होना चाहिए.

Mahtari Vandana Yojan Process of application

For offline Mahtari Vandana Yojana  application : 1. You can visit the nearest Common Service Center/Angadbadi kendra/Gram panchayat/Women and Child development office and ask them to help you.

Online application for Mahtari Vandana Yojana:

1.Visit  official site ‘mahtarivandan.cgstate.gov.in’ or download app

2.provide necessary details like phone number and generate log in id

3.Click on  option ‘online application’/ ‘avedan Patra’

4.Fill in  application form by submitting  required documents.

5.Click on submit and take print out of  application form.

6. In case of verification requirement, applicant shall have to appear at said office with necessary documents.

8. आप अपने आवेदन की स्थिति जानने के लिए आधिकारिक वेबसाइट पर जा सकते हैं और इन पंजीकरण विवरणों को भर सकते हैं
9. आपके आवेदन के स्वीकृत होने पर आपको अपने पंजीकृत मोबाइल पर एक अधिसूचना प्राप्त होगी और आपके खाते में धन प्राप्त होना शुरू हो जाएगा।

The last date to apply for the Mahtari Vandana Yojana cg scheme  Februrary 20,2024 and scheme will commence from 1 march. They will receive the amount in their linked DBT account. Women can visit their nearest Anganvadi centres for easy assistance regarding the scheme.
