Assam government launched Sewa Setu Portal for the citizens of the state. Also known as RTPS portal aims to bridge gap between public services and citizen. RTPS (Right to Public Services) Act came into existence in 2012 to provide delivery of notified public services to people of its citizen within a stipulated time. An amendment was made in the year 2019 for including remaining 6 scheduled areas.

All major public services available are under one roof like administration and government utility services. Main overall aim of promoting Digital India campaign on state level. Many hassle free services like Online application, tracking and monitoring status of application, lodge online grievance, acknowledgement and receipt on application services etc.

Portal is created by the World Bank financed ‘Assam Citizen Centric Service Delivery Project’ for the administrative reforms and training department. ARTPS (Assam Right to Public Services) promotes proactive disclosures related to citizen’s entitlement under the act.

Sewa Setu portal also knows as RTPS portal which is basically to provided hassle free public services to citizens of assam. Accordingly, People can log on to the website later select from the options available on the site. • Person must be a resident of Assam State.

Process for accessing Setu Sewa services:

1. Visit official website assam.gov.in
2. Click on Log in/ Register option
3. You will transfer to ‘e-pramaan’ website
4. If you already have an ‘e-pramaan’ account, you can fill those details here and link your accounts.
5. But if don’t have then you will register on ‘e-pramaan’ first. following that ,Enter the required information like phone no. and id proof. You will get E-pramaan account details.
6. Link those details on sewasetu portal.
7. Finally, Log in to sewasetu portal, further select any of option for service you are seeking.

 

e-pramaan is a single sign on service for residents of Assam. This generates an id proof document which link the account of residents in all government services.
