About BSEB (Bihar School Examination Board)

BSEB is a statutory body incorporate under section 3 of Bihar School Examination Act-1952. It is a designated body to conduct examinations at senior and secondary standard in both public and private schools affiliated by it in the entire state of Bihar. This board is also assigned with setting up the syllabus and curriculum for all classes.

Headquarters in Patna, it works under Bihar State government. There are total 22,28,573 schools currently operational under affiliation of BSEB. It also conducts departmental examinations such as Diploma in Physical Education, Certificate in Physical Education and Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) for Bihar state, Simultala Residential Entrance Examinations (for admission to Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya), Examination for Diploma in Elementary Education etc.

Students can follow the following steps to check their official Result:

3. Enter your Board roll code and roll number in the appropriate fields.

Process for BSEB 12^th class application for photocopy of answer sheets :

Students who are not satisfied with their marks or have any doubts can apply for getting a photocopy of their actual answer sheets. These applications go to evaluation-cum-verification center who sends the photocopy of your answer sheets within 30 days of your application for photocopy of answer sheets. It is to noted that there is no provision of re-evaluation available to the students. The steps for application are as follows:

1. Go to the BSEB official website biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in.
2. Click on the ‘Apply for an answer sheet’ link.
3. Fill in details and choose the subjects followed by the type of answer sheet.
4. Make payment of 500 per subject for each subjective answer book and Rs. 100 for each objective answer book as application fees.
5. Click on submit. Your BSEB application for photocopy of answer sheet now successful.

BSEB 12^th Compartment Application Process

It is for those students who fail in anyone or more exams. They get a chance to retake the paper and improve their overall percentage. These compartment exams take place at the end of the month of April. The process of application takes place through online mode only and the Result get announced in the same month. The process of application is as follows:

1. Go to the BSEB official website seniorsecondary.biharboardonline.com.
2. Click on the ‘Apply for an answer sheet’ link.
3. Fill in details and choose the subjects followed by the type of answer sheet.
4. Make payment of Rs 808.
