CCMT Counselling 2024 Schedule -[MTech, M.Arch, M.Plan]
GATE 2024 final results release on official website on March 16 2024. Now its time for admissions into IITs, NITs and IITs etc. Candidates who want to take admission in any of these PSU educational institutions must register themselves for GATE counselling 2024.
As we know GATE counsellings take place through 2 modes i.e COAP and CCMT. GATE-COAP counselling is for students who want to take admissions strictly in IITs. For other PSU institutions like IIITs, GFTIs and NITs the admissions take place through GATE-CCMT counselling or Centralized Counselling for M.Tech. / M.Arch./ M.Plan.
Here we will discuss about all the information related to GATE-CMT counselling 2024. Candidates who clear any of GATE exams from year 2022 to 2024 can apply. They just have to go to official website and register themselves up.

About CCMT
Students who want to take admission in PG courses like M.Tech, M.Arch, M.Plan of reputed institutions like NITs, IIESTs, CFTIs and some IITs sign themselves up for CCMT counselling. The selection is based on GATE score of previous 3 years.
It is a collective application platform for centralised PG admissions in M.Tech and related courses. In 2023 CCMT was conducted by NIT Kurukshetra.
CCMT counselling takes place in 3 rounds and total 3 stages. Final selection takes place on merit basis. Registration fee of Rs 3000 for general candidates and Rs 2500 for reserved category applicants.
Eligibility for CCMT 2024
- Must have a valid GATE score of the year 2024 / 2023 / 2024.
- In qualifying degree, the candidates should have passed and secured at least 6.5 CGPA (on a 10- point scale) or 60% for GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC, whereas 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 55% in case of SC/ST/PwD candidates.
Stages of CCMT 2024
- Online registration: Applicants register themselves on CCMT website. They pay registration fee as per their category. Select and lock their choices of institutions.
- Counselling rounds: There are total 3 rounds of counselling. CCMT 1st round of counselling is on June 2024. Seat allotment, Fee deposit for acceptance of seat, upload documents, submit willingness and final document verification.
- Document Verification: Online document verification and admission at the final allotted institute.

Steps to register for CCMT 2024
- Go to official website of CCMT 2024 i.e ccmt.nic.in and click on registration. Registration is mendatory for all candidates who want to apply in year 2024.
- Enter information like Email id, Phone Number, Name, Date of Birth and course of admission.
- Verify and log in again.
- Now fill your details of father name, Address, Exam centre, contact information etc.
- Upload scanned photo and signature.
- Payment of CCMT registration fee 2024
- Click on submit application and your registration for CCMT counselling 2024 is now complete.
