Madras High Court makes new announcement of mandating E-Pass for outsiders who want to visit Ooty and Kodaikanal from this year onwards. The tourists from outside Tamil Nadu both Indian and non-Indian citizens now need to apply for E-Pass in Advance for their visit. It was initially started in the year 2021 when COVID-19 was on the rise and movement restrictions were being imposed.

Tamil Nadu government is urging visitors to get a TN E-pass for their safe and comfortable travel to Ooty and Kodaikanal. 2. Choose domestic or foreign traveler. There are two options namely Within India and Outside India.
3. Select your option. Then enter your mobile number and Captcha. Then Click on Receive OTP. Enter OTP and then click on log in.
4. Choose the city you want to visit. Nilgiris, Kodaikanal etc. You can also choose to make a Localite Pass or see Previous passes you have.
5. Enter name of Applicant, Purpose of visit, application number etc. You also need to enter your vehicle registration number if you bringing your own vehicle. Type of vehicle, fuel type.
6. Submit your information by clicking on Submit. Your TN E-Pass is ready to downlaod.
