On Monday, May 16, Andhra Pradesh initiated the disbursement of financial aid to eligible farmers through the YSR Rythu Bharosa PM Kisan scheme, providing Rs 5,500 in support. The state government distributed the first instalment of Rs 5,500 under the Ysr Rythu Bharosa on Monday, with an additional Rs 2000 set to credited under the PM Kisan Scheme by the month’s end. This endeavour aims to provide crucial financial assistance to farmers, ensuring their well-being and fostering agricultural prosperity within the region.

1. Visit the official website of the YSR Rythu Bharosa Scheme at ysrrythubharosa.ap.gov.in.
2. Enter the registered mobile number, password, and captcha.
3. Click on the “Login” button to access the login page.
4. Input the username, password, and click “Login” again.
5. The page will display information regarding eligible beneficiaries.

YSR Rythu Bharosa Payment Status Benefits :

1. The state government will provide farmers with interest-free loans.

2. Each farmer family will receive annual financial assistance of Rs. 13,500, totalling Rs. 67,500 over a five-year period.- The government will cover the insurance premium.

3. Ongoing irrigation improvements will completed.

4. Tenant farmers will receive Rs. 2,500 annually.

5. Farmers will have access to free power for 9 hours every day.

6. Free borewells will provided to farmers.

7. Farmers are exempted from paying vehicle tax.

Eligibility Criteria of YSR Rythu Bharosa :

• Residents of Andhra Pradesh are eligible for this scheme.
• Individuals involved in farming or agriculture-related activities are eligible.
• Small and marginal farmers, as well as agricultural tenants, can apply for benefits.
• Farmers with at least 5 acres of cultivable land qualify for the YSR Rythu Bharosa scheme.

YSR Rythu Bharosa Scheme in AP Budget 2024-25 :

a. Andhra Pradesh’s Vote on Account Budget for 2024-2025 was presented on February 7, 2024.

b. The Finance Minister highlighted that since 2019, Rs 33,300 crore has been disbursed to 53.53 lakh farmers via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mode under the Dr. YSR Rythu Bharosa-PM KISAN scheme.

c. This assistance includes Rs. 13,500 for tenants and RoFR (Rights over Forest Resources) cultivators, provided solely by the state government.

d. Additionally, 10,778 Dr. YSR Rythu Bharosa Kendralu have been established as one-stop centers to offer services to farmers at their doorsteps, recognized as a best practice by NITI Aayog.

e. The government has devised a comprehensive strategy to enhance the livelihoods of farmers, focusing on productivity and resilience in agriculture.

f. Various safety nets such as the Price Stabilisation Fund, crop insurance, and input subsidy are provided to farmers, ensuring a stable and secure agricultural environment.

2. Navigate to the “Rythu Bharosa Payment Status” tab on the homepage.
3. On the new page, enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number into the designated box.

4. Click the submit button to proceed.

AP YSR Rythu Bharosa Instalments :

1. YSR Rythu Bharosa scheme beneficiaries receive three instalments annually.
2. The first instalment, provided before the Kharif season, is transferred in the months of May / June.
3. Farmers receive Rs. 7,500 in the first instalment to support their agricultural activities.
4. The second instalment, disbursed for the rabi season, is transferred in September / October.
5. Each farmer receives Rs. 4,000 in the second instalment to aid in their farming endeavoUrs.
6. The third instalment, amounting to Rs. 2,000, is distributed to farmers around Sankranti.
7. The third instalment is directly deposited into the bank accounts of beneficiaries.
8. The Andhra Pradesh government is the sole provider of Rythu Bharosa assistance to all farmers in the state.
