BJP government promises the farmers of the country to waive off their Loans. The scheme is known as Karj Mafi Yoajana 2024 or KCC Loan Mafi. Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare open KCC Loan Mafi Online registrations for farmers who have a Kisan Credit Card. Currently only few states like UP, Bihar And Jharkhand release list of eligible farmers for Loan Mafi registrations. The farmers whose name is in the list of their respective state’s Karj Mafi List can apply for loan waiver. This scheme is for small and marginal class farmers who have a KCC loan pending. In UP the scheme is known as Kisan Rin Mochan Yojana 2024.

Eligible candidates for KCC Loan Mafi registrations can visit official website of their respective State Agriculture ministries. They must first check the list of Loan Mafi eligible candidates and register only if their name is in the list. They can apply for KCC Loan Mafi application, submit necessary documents and then wait for the notification of loan waiver from their bank.

About KCC Loan Mafi Yojana

The central government through their Agriculture and Farmer’s welfare Ministry, introduce Kisan Karj Mafi Yojana 2024 in their 2024-25 Budget. Now after Lok Sabha elections are concluded and government’s new term is commencing, the Ministry is starting to implement this Kisan Karj Mafi Yojana through the state ministries. Kisan Karj Mafi Yojana 2024 aims at waiving off loans of Farmers to uplift their financial burden. This is applicable only on the small and middle class farmers who own around 2 hectares of land. State governments are aiming to provide relief of upto 3 lakhs to farmers who have any loan over their KCC. UP Government releases lists of eligible farmers for Kisan Rinn Mochan Yojana 2024.

Eligibility for KCC Loan Mafi registration 2024

• Citizenship/Nativity– Candidate who is  a citizen of India eligible to apply for KCC Loan Mafi registration 2024. Currently states of UP, Bihar and Jharkhand release official list of eligible farmers for this scheme.
• Age– Minimum age limit to apply for KCC Loan Mafi registration 2024 is 18 years.
• Category– Farmers from lower and marginal level are eligible to register for kisan Loan Mafi scheme. This is to provide financial relief to those small scale farmers who usually do not have enough money to carry out farming activities.
• Land– The total area of all the lands owned by the Small farmer would not exceed 2 hectares and by the marginal farmer shall not exceed 1 hectare.
• Loan– Crop loans taken on Kisan Credit Card (KCC) account. Farmers whose crop loans restructure due to occurrence of natural calamities.
