The department of school education, Andhra Pradesh, opens application window for Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) 2024 July on July 4. The AP TET 2024 exam for July session is scheduled to be held from August 5 to 20, 2024. Eligible candidates can fill up AP TET 2024 application form by visiting official website at aptet.apcfss.in.
Last date to submit AP TET July 2024 application form is July 17, 2024. The fee payment process for AP TET 2024 July session is underway and last date to make payment is July 16, 2024. The AP TET July 2024 mock tests will be available starting from July 16, 2024. According to the official schedule, the AP TET 2024 admit card will be available on July 25, 2024. The AP TET 2024 July exam takes place in two sessions. The first session is held from 9:30 am to 12 noon, while the second session will take place from 2:30 pm to 5 pm. The provisional answer key is will release on August 10, 2024 and the AP TET 2024 July result will be announced on August 30, 2024.
Application fees for Paper-I is Rs. 750 and for Paper-II is Rs. 750. The total application fees is Rs. 1500. Candidates can submit their application forms at cse.ap.gov.in.

About AP TET 2024
The Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) serves as a qualifying examination for individuals aspiring to become teachers in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. The primary purpose of AP TET is to assess eligibility and competence of candidates who wish to teach at various levels (primary, upper primary, and high school). It ensures that teachers possess necessary knowledge, skills, and understanding to effectively teach students. Candidates who meet educational qualifications specified by government can apply for exam.
The eligibility criteria vary based on the type of teaching certificate (Paper-I or Paper-II) and the subject/category. The exam includes multiple-choice questions (MCQs) covering topics related to child development, pedagogy, language, mathematics, environmental studies, and more. The AP TET 2024 certificate is valid for seven years from the date of issue. Candidates who qualify can apply for teacher recruitment in government schools.
AP TET 2024 consists of two papers:
- Paper-I: For candidates aspiring to teach classes I to V (Primary level).
- Paper-II: For candidates aspiring to teach classes VI to VIII (Upper Primary level).
Eligibility Criteria of AP TET 2024
- Citizenship/ Nativity: Applicants who are a permanent citizen of India and a resident of Andhra Pradesh are eligible to apply for APTET 2024. Applicants residing outside Andhra Pradesh can also apply for AP TET 2024.
- Age: The minimum age limit to apply for AP TET 2024 exam is 18 years and the maximum age limit is capped at 40 years. Age relaxation will be given to candidates belonging to reserved categories.
- Educational Qualification: The educational qualification depends on post for which you are applying. For Primary Teacher position, candidates must have completed Intermediate with at least 45% marks and obtained a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
