DSE Admission 2024 – Direct Second year engineering admission 2024-25 (Process)

Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra will soon release notification for DSE Admissions 2024 in July. The students who want to change their colleges or directly want to take admission in 2^nd year of Engineering courses like B.Tech, B.E etc can register themselves. A centralised Second year admission will take place for all the DSE students. Students from or outside of Maharashtra can apply for DSE admissions 2024. Admission in DSE of colleges in Maharashtra depends on the available seats in colleges. Students who are pass in their class 12^th or have a valid diploma in Engineering course are eligible to apply for Direct Second year Engineering admissions 2024. Both girls and boys are eligible to participate in DSE admissions.

All eligible candidates can visit official DTE portal and register themselves, fill application form, upload their documents and pay application fee to submit their DSE application. The selection  in DSE 2024 is on merit basis. Rounds of CAP counselling will take place and rows of merit lists will release as long as there is any seat left in participating institutions. Application fee for DSE Maharashtra admissions is Rs 800 for general category candidates.

About DSE Admissions 2024

Direct Second year Engineering Admissions take place in the engineering colleges of Maharashtra with the guidance of Directorate of Technical Education. Every year the engineering colleges in Maharashtra open admissions in the second year of their various engineering courses like B.E, B.Tech etc. The process is same as taking admission in first year i.e through a Centralised Admission Process (CAP). Students can register themselves on DTE portal, fill form and pay application fee. They also fill their preference/choice list on the basis of which their seat allotment takes place. Selection in DSE Admissions 2024 takes place on the basis of merit. After all registrations are complete the marks of students are analysed and a DSE Admissions Merit list releases. Students whose name is in the list will sit in CAP Counselling rounds until they get their desired college.

Stages of DSE Admissions 2024

Eligibility criteria for DSE Admissions 2024

1. Citizenship/Nativity- both Foreign and Indian citizens who are either residents or non-residents of Maharashtra are eligible to apply for DSE Admissions 2024. However the residents will get preference over non-residents.
2. Age- Students above age of 18 are eligible to apply for DSE admissions.
3. Educational Qualification- Students who apply for DSE admissions 2024 need 12^th pass certificate from a recognise institution and a diploma from an Engineering course.
