e-Prerana Registration Form 2024
Education Ministry of India under its New Education Policy 2020, starts an experiential learning program called PRERANA. It is implemented by NVS (Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti) for students in class 9 to 12th. . Prerana is a week long residential program that takes place in Vernacular School in Vadnagar, Gujarat. The batch of students who get selected get a chance to learn about all the important aspects of history, science and health that helps expanding their horizons. The program is focused on 9 main visions which help students answer 3 main questions about themselves. Topics like Ayurveda, Sports, Astronomy, performing arts, legends, Digital classroom, 3D printing etc make up majority of program.
The registration for Prerana Program start from the month of March 2024 and are valid until April 2025. Students in class 9th to 12th can register on the official website. Provide necessary details about school, their talents, achievements to get selected for program. Students are require to bring sample of their local art, prepare interesting poems in native language along with their necessary things. They get a certificate upon completion which helps them in future. Total 20 students get selected from 10 districts of country. Cost of accommodation and transport is borne by Culture Ministry of India.

What is Prerana Program 2024?
Prerna program is launched by Ministry of Education to facilitate indigenous knowledge among the youth India. Its an extension of New Economic Policy 2020 implemented by KVS. Prerna Program 2024 is one week long experiential learning program that takes place for one week. The program takes place at Vernacular School which start in 1888 in Vadnagar, Gujarat. The registrations open for entire year while 20 students are selected for each week.
Students in class 9th and 12th get to exhibit their indigenous talent and also learn about other arts in the country. There are 10 boys and 10 Girls where 2 students (1 boy and 1 girl) are selected from each district. There is a backup candidate (1 girl, 1 boy) as well. The process has total 3 levels, it starts with registration of student. Each school organise ‘Prerna Utsav’ in which students participate and display their talents. Then students participate in district level ‘Prerna Utsav’ where 30 students selected. Finally personal interview of these 30 students takes place. These students move on to attend the final ‘Prerna Utsav’ in Gujarat.

Selection Process for Prerana Program 2024
The selection of this program includes total 3 stages. It starts when the students register for the program. The details of each stage is as follows:

Steps to register for Prerana Program 2024

- Click on ‘register’.
- Enter your details like Name, Date of Birth, Class, School board, Caste, Special talents, Medical issue. A statement on who is your role model and why?
- Fill your Captcha Code, Tick mark the box and click ‘register’.
- Your Prerana 2024 application is now successful.
- Login to check your application status after registration.
- Students will get further updates through SMS and mail.

PRERANA Program is a personality development camp where students get to learn about their culture, arts and health etc. Students from different cultural backgrounds interact, learn and show their arts so that they are motivated to preserve their cultural artforms. The main aim of PRERANA program is to make students aware about their environment and life values so that they can create a meaningful and successful life for themselves.
PRERANA program is for students of class 9 to 12 from all schools in India. This is includes government schools, private schools, Navodaya and Kendriya vidyalaya etc.
The final camp of PRERANA takes place in Gujarat which goes on for one week. Students stay at Vernacular school, Vadnagar.
To get selected the students first need to register on official website, then participate in competitions organised at school and district level called as ‘Prerana Utsav’. Once you get selected in each round wait for the notification of Final Selection. The final selection is of 2 girls and 2 boys from each district to attend the camp in Gujarat.
There is no fee to be paid by candidates. All expenditures from travel to stay are covered by authorities. If students want to bring any money for personal expenditures then they may bring with them.
The selected students shall bring a sample of Local Art/craft, a local recipe of food item, traditional costume of their region, soft copies of photographs of historical sites of their area. They shall come prepared with a Folk Stories/ Songs/ Prayer/ Folk dance in native language, Information about inspirational personalities of the district/state. Some interesting proverbs/phrases of the native language and some Indigenous game of the state/ region.
