ICSI CSEET Registration 2024
Institute of Company Secretary of India (ICSI) release notification for its CSEET 2024 May session. The last date to register is 15 April 2024. The exam takes place in two sessions i.e January and May. CSEET January session results are already out on ICSI website. The exam for January session took place on 6 and 8 January 2024. This year’s May session registration open on official website of ICSI. Candidates who are pass in their class 12 or sat in 12th exams are eligible to apply for ICSI CSEET 2024 May session. Date of CSEET 2024 May session exam is May 4 2024. Admit card for CSEET 2024 May session release 10 days before exam.
Candidates can go to official website to register themselves for ICSI CSEET 2024 May exam. Register by entering their information, uploading necessary documents and paying necessary fee. The Institute will conduct CS Executive Entrance Test based on Objective Type / Multiple Choice Questions and viva-voce for testing listening, written communication and oral communication skills. There are four papers in CS Executive Entrance Test. Each paper contains objective type multiple choice questions having one or more marks each with four options with one correct answer. The duration of the Test shall be 120 minutes and viva-voice on Presentation and Communication Skills of 15 Minutes.

About CSEET exam
The Company Secretaries (Amendment) Regulations, 2020 require introduction of CS Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) in place of the Foundation Programme. With the introduction of CSEET from February 3, 2020, new registration to the Foundation Programme has ceased to exist w.e.f. February 3, 2020, CSEET is the only qualifying entrance test for registration to the CS Executive Programme. CSEET is introduced keeping in view the diverse academic standards of students seeking admission in the Company Secretaryship Course, to attract meritorious students and to test their aptitude for the Company Secretary profession The Institute will conduct CS Executive Entrance Test four times a year.

Eligibility for CSEET 2024 May session
- A candidate passed / appearing in the Senior Secondary (10+2) Examination or equivalent thereto is eligible to appear in the CSEET.
- All Graduates/ Post Graduates who were hitherto eligible for registration directly to CS Executive Programme, are also required to pass the CSEET to become eligible for registration to Executive Programme.

Passing criteria of CSEET 2024
- Final score- The final score is calculate by adding the marks candidates secure in both theTests (CBT and Viva-Voce) out of a total of 200 marks.
- Pass criteria- Candidates get marked as ‘PASS’ in CSEET on securing 40% marks in each paper and 50% marks in the aggregate.

Process of registration for CSEET May session 2024
- To Register for CSEET 2024 May exam go to the official ICSI website i.e icsi.edu
- Select “Online Services” from the menu bar. If you’re registering for the first time, click on “Register for CS Course.” If you’ve passed the CSEET exam, click on the other option.
- Tick the required boxes and move to “proceed to CSEET registration”. Click the button.
- Fill in your basic info and address, and generate a unique ID. Then, provide the mendatory details.
- Check the CS Executive fees and upload your documents as per the given specifications.
- Review your application, click in ‘confirm application’ if all details are correct.
- Select payment mode to pay fee of CSEET 2024. Make payment, and save the transaction ID. For future use, get the transaction receipt.
Exemptions from CSEET exam
- Candidates successfully pass CS Foundation Programme are exempted from CSEET without any payment of exemption fee.
- Candidates who have passed the Final Examination of The Institute of ICAI and/or The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) are exempted from CSEET and shall pay `5,000 (Rupees Five Thousand Only) towards exemption fee at the time of Registration to CS Executive Programme.
Registration for CS Executive Programme 2024
- Click online services button on top of the ICSI website icsi.edu
- Go to the Students tab and click on ‘Student Registration’
- Click on to the checklist of documents as applicable to you on the basis of your qualification.
- Now Click on ‘Proceed to Registration’
- Select the Course type as Executive stage
- Fill other fields.
- Click on the option- ‘Make Payment’ for effecting necessary payments.
- Log in again and then click on ‘My account’ to upload all documents and certificates like.
Photograph of the candidate, Signature of the candidate, DOB Certificate (10th Pass Certificate), Roll Number (if appearing), 2th Passing certificate/Mark sheet, Category Certificate (if belonging to SC/ST OR Physically Handicapped Category)
9. Once all required documents have been uploaded, the applications are check at Directorate of Student Services and if found OK, it is approved. If any discrepancies are found, then student concerned is informed by e-mail to complete.
