Kerala government’s CEE (Commissioner for Entrance Examination) release notification for admission in universities and colleges of Kerala for various PG and UG courses 2024. KEAM is for Admission to Kerala Engineering, Architecture, Medical- Allied and Pharmacy Courses 2024  on an Under graduate level. Registration for KEAM start from 27^th March to 17 April 2024.

There are three main streams of courses available i.e Admissions in Engineering courses , Pharmacy courses and Medical & Allied, AYUSH courses on UG level. KEAM  Engineering courses admissions are based on KEAM entrance exam 2024 marks. Final ranks are prepared by considering a 50:50 ratio of entrance test scores and marks obtained in the final year of qualifying examination. KEAM results 2024 expected to release in late June 2024

Candidates can go to official website of KEAM 2024 and apply for the admissions in their preferred courses. They shall ensure that the mobile number and email-id provided in the online application are their own or parents or guardians only. Candidates should upload SSLC or equivalent certificate, recent Photo (taken within six months),Signature, proof of Date of Birth and Nativity along with the Online application within the above date. The other eligibility certificates and documents can be uploaded up to 24.04.2024, 5.00 PM. Candidates should submit only one application for any of the courses or all of the courses.

Eligibility for KEAM 2024

1. Nativity– only Indian citizens are eligible for admissions in professional courses. There are three categories made for Keralites, non-Keralites (Category 1) and Non-Keralites (category 2). People from non-Keralites category don’t get any reservation.

1.1 Keralites– A candidate of Kerala origin will be categorized as a ‘Keralite’. Only ‘Keralite’ candidates are      eligible for Communal/Special/Persons with Disabilities reservation or any fee concession.

1.2 Non-Keralite (Category I)-

a)A candidate who has undergone qualifying course in Kerala and who is son/daughter of Non- Keralite parents belong to Government of India/ Defence Service, posted to Kerala.

b)A candidate who has undergone qualifying course in Kerala and who is son/daughter of Non-Keralite parents who are serving/served Government of Kerala for a minimum period of two years.

c)A candidate who is not of Kerala origin but has been a resident of Kerala State for a period of 5 (five) years within the period of 12 (twelve) years of his/her study.

d)A candidate who is not of Kerala origin but who has undergone his/her school studies in Kerala from standard VIII to XII.

1.3 Non-Keralite (Category II)– A person who doesn’t come in any of the above mentioned categories. In some courses like Unani and Siddha this category shall be considered only if any seats are left after filling previous categories.

2. Academic Qualification-Minimum passing percentage of 10^th and 12^th more than 50% in respective subjects like Physics,Chemistry, Biology etc.
3. Age– Minimum age is 17years as on 31^st December 2024.

Admission/Selection in Engineering courses through KEAM 2024

The admissions in various UG engineering courses take place through Kerala Entrance Examination 2024. It conducted by CEE. For admissions marks calculation 50:50 weightage is given to Entrance test scores and 12^th scores in PCM

Selection/Admission in KEAM 2024 Pharmacy Courses

For admissions in Pharmacy course that is B. Pharmacy weightage is given to score obtained in Physics and Chemistry of KEAM 2024. Then ranks are prepared on these basis.

Selection/Admission in Medical & Allied, AYUSH courses through KEAM 2024

There are various courses like MBBS, BUMS, Agriculture and Forestry etc which come under this section of courses as mentioned above. These Medical & Allied courses KEAM admissions are based on NEET-UG 2024 scores. Ranks of NEET are considered in preparing final list.

Process to apply/Register for KEAM 2024

1. Go to official website of KEAM. The first step for applying KEAM is Registration. Click on ’Registration’ link available in the main page which is shown above. A declaration page appears on next page.
   • Click on Proceed for Registration.
   • Enter your name, Date of Birth, Mobile number, e-mail address, Password. Verify through access code.
   • Click on ‘Register’. Then press ‘confirm’ button.
   • Your application is now generated. Complete registration by entering the correct OTP.
   • Note the system generated application number and password.
2. Fill Application by selecting the course you want to take admission in. Enter your basic details like Gender, nationality, parents names etc. Claim reservation if eligible. Then click on ‘Save and Preview’. Then ‘Save and Finalise’.
3. Pay Application fee for KEAM 2024 online mode. When payment is successful the Application fee tab turns green.
4. Upload required documents like photograph, signature, reserve category certificate if applicable. Certificate in PDF format. Click on ‘Submit’.
5. Print Acknowledgement. Log out after application is submit.
6. Log in again with your KEAM application number, password and access code. Your application is displayed on screen.
