Finance Ministry of Maharashtra announce a latest women empowerment scheme for the ladies of the state. While presenting the Annual budget of the State, Finance Minister of Maharashtra Mr. Ajit Pawar launched Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Scheme 2024. Under this scheme the women of the state get various financial and social benefits from the side of the government. The amount allocated to this scheme from the budget is Rs 46,000 crores. The women who are from Economically Weaker Section of the society suffer due to low income or unavailability of jobs. Majhi Ladki Bahin Scheme 2024 will provide educational support, LPG gas cylinders, and monthly grant of Rs 1500 to unemployed and backward women of the society. The scheme covers women within the age of 18-60 years who are permanent residents of Maharashtra.

Eligible women can apply through both online and offline mode. When the official portal is launched women can visit the site and register themselves, enter their personal details, upload documents and submit their application form. There is no application fee to apply for Majhi Ladki Bahin Scheme 2024. Official portal and registrations are expected to take place in the month of July 2024.  About Majhi Ladki Bahin Scheme 2024

Majhi Ladki Bahin Scheme 2024 was launched by the Finance Minister of Maharashtra while presenting the annual budget. This scheme is initially an initiative of Madhya Pradesh government which observed a great response. In order to empower the women of Maharashtra the government is now planning to implement the scheme in the exact or even more efficient manner. The aim of Majhi Ladki Bahin Scheme 2024 is to empower the women of the state from EWS category to uplift their financial and social status in the society. Majhi Ladki Bahin Scheme 2024 covers women who are between the age of 18-60 years and belong to non-income tax paying families. These women are then provided with free education, gas connection and monthly grant of Rs 1500 to sustain their livelihood.

Nari Shakti Doot Registration Portal Login (App) is official app launched by the Maharashtra government to facilitate Majhi Bahin Registration 2024. Women can download Nari Shakti Doot (App) 2024 on their device and apply for the scheme. Last date to register on Nari Shakti Doot App is 15 July 2024. Women will register themselves, log in and create their account on Nari Shakti Doot App by enter their User ID and Password. Benefits of Majhi Ladki Bahin Scheme 2024

• Free education- Women from EWS (Economically Weaker Sections ) category of Society tend to give up on their education as it is seen as more of a luxury than a right. The government under Majhi Ladki Bahin Scheme 2024 will provide free of cost education to girls who took admission in any college of the state. There is a full fee waiver to the girls who are meritorious and already secure a seat in college.
• LPG facility- Beneficiaries under Majhi Ladki Bahin Scheme 2024 get 3 LPG cylinders free every year. The households who already have a gas connection are not eligible for this scheme.

• Citizenship/Nativity- Indian women who are permanent residents of the state of Maharashtra are eligible to apply for Majhi Ladki Bahin Scheme 2024. Males cannot  apply for this scheme’s benefit.
• Age-Minimum age to apply for Majhi Ladki Bahin Scheme 2024 is 18 years. Maximum age to apply for Majhi Ladki Bahin Scheme 2024 scheme is 60 years.
• Category-Women who belong to EWS (Economically Weaker Section) like SC/ST/OBC are eligible to apply for Majhi Ladki Bahin Scheme 2024. They shall not be employed in any sector.
