MHT CET Registration 2024
State CET Cell of Maharashtra release notification for MHT CET 2024 exam. CET cell open registrations for admissions in its various UG level PCB and PCM courses admissions in all the colleges of Maharashtra. This exam is for selection of candidates for admission to the first year of Bachelor of Engineering and Technology, Planning, Planning Courses and First Year of Master of Engineering and Technology (Integrated), Pharm. D PG course for the Academic Year 2024-25. Registration for MHT CET 2024 start from 16 January to 1 March 2024. Earlier dates of examination for MHT CET was 16-30 April 2024.
CET cell Maharashtra issue new dates of MHT CET 2024 exam on 22-30 April for PCB group and 2-17 May 2024 for PCM group. What is MHT CET?
Maharashtra Common Entrance Test is a collective entrance exam conducted by the State Cell of Maharashtra to regulate admissions in universities and colleges of Maharashtra. MHT CET is specifically for admission to the first year of Bachelor of Engineering and Technology, Planning, Planning Courses and First Year of Master of Engineering and Technology (Integrated), Pharm. D PG course for the Academic Year 2024-25. It is also known as an exam for students who study or want to study PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Maths) or PCB (Physics, Chemistry Biology) subjects. So basically Engineering and Pharmacy Courses.
State Cell of Maharashtra collectively organise an exam called CET (Common Entrance Exam) for admissions in all its higher education institutions like MAH- AAC CET, MH- Nursing CET, MAH-PGP-CET / PGO-CET /M.Sc(A & SLP)-CET / M.Sc(P &O)-CET, MAH- L.L.B.5 Yrs. CET( Five Year Integrated Course) and similarly MHT CET which is just one of the many CETs conducted every year for admissions. All the individuals who are residents of India or hold an NRI, OCI , PIO and CIWGC card holders are eligible to apply for admissions under MHT CET 2024.
Eligibility for MHT CET
- Citizenship– Candidate is a citizen of India. Preferably Maharashtra. NRI, OCI, PIO and CIWGC cardholders are also eligible to apply.
- Age– There is no age criteria set by State cell for MHT CET 2024 exam.
- Educational qualification– Students shall pass 12th with atleast 45% overall marks (for general category) and 40% above for Backward category candidates.

Process of application for MHT CET 2024
All the students who want to sit for MHT CET 2024 must register themselves first on official website of CET cell Maharashtra. They can follow the below mention steps to fill their application form for MHT CET:
- Go to official website of CET Cell, Maharashtra i.e cetcell.maharashtra.org
- Click on “Candidate Registration A.Y 2024-25“.
- Read the instructions carefully and click on the “Register” option.
- Enter full name according to board marksheet. Put in your email, mobile number, password, date of birth and then click on ‘regsiter’. Now your log in credentials are generated.
- Enter your personal details like Father’s name, gender, your religion, nationality, marital status, address and minority details etc. Enter your SSC/equivalent scores, board etc and click on ‘save changes’.
- Log in and upload scanned copies of your photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
- Pay the application fee through online mode using a debit card/credit card/net banking.
- Verify all the details entered in the application form and click on the “Submit” button.
- Your MHT CET 2024 application is now successful.
- Take a printout of the application form and keep it for future reference
