Girls who want to join Indian Army as Nurses can now register for admission in 4-years B.Sc(Nursing) course at College of Nursing under AFMS (Armed Forces Medical Services). AFMS release official notification for admission in the first year of its 4 year long UG B.Sc Nursing course. There are total 220 seats in various CoN institutions. Girls who are between the age of 16 to 23 years are eligible to apply for MNS B.Sc Nursing admissions 2024. Participation in NEET UG 2024 is essential for applying to this course. Candidates get shortlisted on the merit basis of their NEET scores. Further General Intelligence & General English, Psychological Assessment Test and Interview. About MNS B.Sc (Nursing) admissions

MNS is Military Nursing Service in the Indian Army where females who are within age bracket and pass NEET UG can apply for admissions in Nursing Colleges affiliated by Indian Defence forces. Students after graduating from these colleges get a Permanent/Short Service Commission in Indian Army. They get stipend during their internship period and various other allowances before they get officially commissioned as nurse officers in the forces. The initial selection is based on NEET UG scores. Then they appear in Computer Based Test of General Intelligence, General English (TOGIGE), Psychological Assessment and Interview. Finally Medical examination of candidates take place where they shall qualify the minimum standards set by authority.

Eligibility for MNS B.Sc (Nursing) admissions 2024

1. Citizenship- Candidates who are citizens of India from any state are eligible to apply for MNS B.Sc (Nursing) admissions 2024.
2. Gender and Age- Only female candidates who were born between 1 October 1999 and 30 September 2007 can apply for AFMS admissions.
3. Educational Qualification- Candidates who are pass in their 12^th examination from a recognised board with subjects Chemistry, Biology (Botany/Zoology) and English.
4. Physical standards- Minimum Height=152 cm (for general candidates). Minimum height of 147 cm (for candidates from North Eastern states). An allowance for growth of 2 cm is acceptable for candidates below 18years old.

Selection process of MNS B.Sc (Nursing) admissions 2024

Screening	A merit list is prepared on the basis of NEET UG scores 2024. The candidates get call for further stages of selection.
ToGIGE	Computer Based Test (CBT) of General Intelligence & General English (ToGIGE) will take place. It is of 30mins with 40 MCQ type questions.
Psychological Assessment and interview	A Board of Officers at Base Hospital, Delhi Cantt. Conducts Psychological assessment and Interview. The questions are on the core subjects of Class 12, GK, Current Affairs and Other interests of candidates. This is to evaluate the mental strength of the candidate.
Medical Examination	This examination involves a full medical checkup of the candidate to endure they are physically fit. There are some parameters on which the candidate is evaluated like their Height, weight, etc. A final merit list is prepared which includes combined marks of (NEET UG+ ToGIGE+ Psychological Assessment and Interview + Medical Examination).
