NLCIL Vacancy 2024 Notification 

NLC India Limited, a “Navratna” Public Sector Enterprise, Under the Ministry of Coal, invites applications from eligible Wards of Project Affected Persons who have given land and houses after 1977 to NLC India Ltd., for Apprenticeship Training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 in the following designated subject fields like Engineering Graduate Apprentices, Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentices, Technician (Diploma) Apprentices.

NLC India Limited has released a notification for the 2024-25 apprenticeship program, exclusively inviting applications from the wards of Project Affected Persons (PAPs) who have contributed land or houses to the company. Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria and submit the necessary documents, including proof of their PAP status. The vacancies include 197 positions for engineering graduates, 155 for non-engineering graduates, and 153 for diploma holders, offering a unique chance to gain valuable experience in a prestigious organization.

Instruction to Remember 

• The Candidate will have to arrive at the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examinations as stated below and enclose it along with the application form (Refer to Specimen format).
• Overstatement of Marks by the candidates will lead to disqualification of the candidates from the selection process.
• In case of more than one candidate scoring the same percentage of marks at the cut-off level, the senior most candidates will be considered for selection, based on the date of birth.
• Completion of Training does not entitle the candidates to any right to claim temporary or permanent nature jobs in NLC India Ltd.

Age Limit

Age Relaxation for OBC (Non-Creamy layer)/SC/Ex-Servicemen candidates will be as per Government of India guidelines and the same will be extended only if valid OBC (NCL) / SC / Discharge Certificates are uploaded at the time of registration of application. The age limit will be followed as per Apprenticeship Rules.

Education Qualification

• Applicants must hold Engineering, UG/Bachelors Degree Holder, and Technician (Diploma) as per job post applying for.
• Candidates should have passed the qualifying exam in 2020 / 2021 / 2022 / 2023 / 2024.
• Candidates should not have undergone or presently undergoing Apprenticeship Training in NLCIL or elsewhere.
• Candidates should not have experience of one year or more in any job.

NLC Apprentice Job Salary 2024

• For NLCIL Engineering Graduate Apprentices Salary is Rs 15028 (of which Rs 4500 will be paid by the government under the DBT scheme).
• For NLC India Limited Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentices Salary is Rs. 12524 (of which Rs 4500 will be paid by the Government under the DBT scheme)
• For Technician (Diploma) Apprentices Salary is 12524 (of which Rs 4000 will be paid by Government under DBT scheme)

• Candidates must produce proof in support of their experience in the required “Length & Area of post qualification work experience” as prescribed in para 1.0 (e), to establish their eligibility for the post.
• For candidates from the Private Sector, documentary proof in support of their CTC (Copy of the latest Pay Slip, Pay Certificate issued by the Competent Authority on the company’s letterhead, Income Tax returns, etc.) to establish their eligibility for the post as prescribed at para 2.4 above.
• Latest Pay Slip or Pay certificate.
• For candidates from Central Public Sector Enterprises / State Public Sector Enterprises / Central Government / State Governments:
• Proof of having a minimum of Two years experience in the immediate Lower Pay Scale (or) Proof of working in the same/equivalent / higher scale of pay about the notified post.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on the percentage of marks scored by the candidates in the qualifying Engineering & Non–engineering Graduates and Technician Diploma/Degree.
