How to Apply Revaluation for Cbse Class 12, Marks Re Evaluation (Verification, Rechecking)

CBSE release class 12^th results today on March 13, 2024 on its official website. The exams of class 12^th CBSE took place from 15 February to 2 April 2024 in which total 16,21,224 students appeared out of total 16,33,730. On Monday, 13 April 2024 CBSE release results of both class 10 and 12 for the year 2023-24. PM Modi also congratulates the students through a tweet on X.

Eligible students can go to official results website of CBSE i.e cbseresults.nic.in to check their final results. Students who are not satisfied with their marks or not pass in any of the subjects can apply for revaluation, rechecking or compartment in cbse class 12 exam. Revaluation of CBSE class 12^th start from 17 May 2024. There is official notification related to full details of the same.

Eligibility for CBSE class 12 revaluation

• Students who sit in current year CBSE Class 12^th final exams.
• The students is not satisfied with the marks they get.
• Students want to reverify their marks or simply want a photocopy of their answer sheet.

Options available to students after CBSE Class 12 exam results

2.	Obtaining photocopy of answersheet	This is simply a request for downloading a photocopy of their original answer sheet. Students who apply for CBSE Verification will need a photocopy of the same subject first. There is no change in marks of student.
3	Revaluation	Revaluation is the option where the authorities re assess the answers of the student in detail to justify the marks they got. This includes both re-assessing and re-calculation of marks of the students. This may lead to an increase or decrease in marks
4.	Compartment exam application	When students are not able to score above the minimum passing percentage then they get a chance to apply for CBSE Compartment exam. They re-take the exam of particular subject they fail in or in all the subjects if they score below passing marks in all subjects. This is generally leads to an increase in marks of students.

Students who are not satisfied with their CBSE class 12 results can apply for CBSE Class 12 revaluation, verification of marks or obtaining photocopy of answersheets. CBSE release notification for procedure of applying for various revaluation options with dates. Students can apply for CBSE revaluation of class 12^th marks from 17 May 2024.

What is CBSE Compartment exam application?

There is passing criteria for students who take CBSE class 12^th exam. Generally students are marked as “pass” if they score above 33%. Students who score below 33% are “fail” and therefore need to apply for compartment exam to clear the passing criteria.
