Stella Maris College(SMC) located in Chennai, India, was established in 1947 by the Society of the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary. It  is a Catholic minority college of higher education for women. All undergraduate programs (except BA in English), candidates get shortlisted on the basis of merit obtained in the qualifying examination (10+2). Fine Arts Department administers an entrance test for the Bachelor of Visual Arts program to assess the aptitude and creativity of the candidates. Minimum marks in 12th exams For B.Sc. in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, candidates must have qualified 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics & Chemistry. For B.Sc. in Plant Biology and Plant Biotechnology, candidates must have qualified 10+2 with Zoology, Botany, Chemistry/ Biotechnology.

13. Selected applicants must pay prescribed fees and submit their original certificates with photocopies on date and time. Late Payment is not acceptable.
